SEO is becoming LEO (LLM Engine Optimization).

How does your company rank on ChatGPT?

Because (Google) search is changing, drastically.

You don't use Google anymore - or not as much.

You get answers from ChatGPT.

You ask Perplexity to find the best restaurants in Bangkok.

You start a Deep Research using Grok to benchmark robotic & AI in March 2025.

SEO isn't (exactly) dying.

It's muting into LEO: Large language model Engine Optimization.

I ran some tests. I hate the results.

I am the founder of EasyGen - a Linkedin post generator using AI (and a whole lot of taste).

But there is a gazillion other alternatives (even though they are terrible compared to it - and yes I am biased).

So what happens if I ask ChatGPT "What is the best AI to generate Linkedin post?".

I'm surprised to be here. But I suspect ChatGPT to know me too well.

Well. That's a surprise. I know my SEO is absolutely terrible.

Let's try on an incognito mode.

Wow. Completely different answers. Let's try again.
I am shocked. I thought I would do terribly.

Alright, ChatGPT. You like EasyGen.

But what about Perplexity? What about Grok deep research?

I feel Perplexity is a better picture of EasyGen's terrible SEO.
Grok wrote a (suprisingly long) report with a Deep Research.

Well. EasyGen is pricey & has limited features (according to Grok).

If LLMs like Grok or ChatGPT understood that after scraping a good portion of the web, it should nudge you into doing better.

LLM SEO (or LEO) is a big slap on your face. No sugar coating.

What about your business? Make a quick research with:

  • ChatGPT search + ChatGPT deep research.
  • Perplexity search + Perplexity deep research.
  • Grok search + Grok deep research.

I wonder if I should create a tool to know your ranking, across LLMs, at all times.

And then a tool to help you rank higher through (actual) SEO, optimized for LLMs.

It's all about the deep research reasoning.

How can you know how the LLM searches through the web?

One cue is the deep reasoning mode: when I asked Grok for the best AI to generate Linkedin posts, it showed me how it's thinking.

If there was a way to extract all of the potential questions it's going through for you to answer it: bingo! You're optimizing for LLMs. I guess I really have to build that little startup.

Query number 1: "AI tools for LinkedIn post generation"

Query number 2: Browsing easygen for "features and user reviews"

Query number 3: Searching for "EasyGen LinkedIn AI review"

Query number 4: Searching for "best AI LinkedIn post generator comparison"

Query number 5: Searching for "MagicPost vs RedactAI vs EasyGen"

Query number 6: Searching for "best AI LinkedIn post generator user reviews"

Query number 7: Searching for "best AI for LinkedIn posts Reddit"

Query number 8: Searching for "award-winning AI LinkedIn post generator"

And the queries go on & on & on.

Combine it with ChatGPT's & Perplexity's deep research...and you are LEO!

Should I create the tool EasyLEO? Reply to this email "Hell yes!" or "No, thank you."
