How to Use AI for Authentic Content Creation: A Step-by-Step Guide
January 4, 2025
Being an authentic human, using AI.
This is not possible—right?
“People will know.”
“Platforms (like LinkedIn) will know.”
“And your reputation will tarnish forever.”
I obviously disagree.
I reached hundreds of millions of views & engagements. I have an authentic community. You are reading me right now.
And to prove it wasn’t luck, I’ve repeated my success with my two employees, Axelle & Anisha.
So how do we remain authentic, human, while using AI?
That's because I don’t use AI the way you think.
AI is GPT. GPT is generative.
It’s all about generating. A (whole) lot.
First, people get a misconception about the word AI.
They put anything & everything under it.
Let’s be honest: you think AI is your terrible one-shot ChatGPT prompt that gave a mild answer.
So of course you think: “I can’t be authentic with such a mild answer!”
But you’re missing the point.
ChatGPT stands for:
- Chat
- GPT: Generative Pre-training Transformer.
Focus on "Generative".
The ability to generate—a lot—is the point.
Not just once. Dozens. Hundreds.
People usually fall into two categories:
1 - By the time they tried to write one post without AI...
I generated 50x of them with AI to patch it into 1.
2 - By the time they generated only one with AI (and got mild results)...
I spent my time brainstorming with AI at lightning speed.
Faster, yes. But to be greater, not lazier.
AI is meant to make you faster, yes.
But not faster to do less, be lazier. The point is to be faster to do more, be greater.
In practical terms:
1. Let’s say you want to write a post.
2. Use Perplexity, Gemini, ChatGPT to find topics.
For eg. “Latest trends for X.”
3. Generate hundreds of subtopics to choose from.
For eg. “For this [topic], generate 20 subtopics as one-liners with one key problem and one key solution”.
You can do this in seconds, yes.
But now that you have time, USE IT.
Use it to select the best topic. Use it to shape the best subtopic. Use it to better your taste & experience.
AI + human. Not AI instead of humans.
Let’s get even more practical.
Here’s my entire framework for a friend who’s writing about the future of remote working.
Copy it. Steal it. But put in the work!
The AI + Human "Hyper-Generative" Framework
The framework to go from 0 to 100 - with AI - while staying authentic.
Step 1: Go to Topic-GPT (on the GPT Store of ChatGPT).
I like the post "Remote Work Myths". Let's dive into this one.
Step 2: I go to Perplexity & ChatGPT.
I simply ask "Remote Work Myths" to both of them.
I combine the two, and make my own sauce of curation + taste + experience.
AI did the heavy lifting. I know take the time to refine it to a diamond.
Step 3: I go to EasyGen to generate dozens of posts.
Time to write the topic first = the input before generating dozens of posts.
Now generate at very least 5x different posts:
Step 4: Refine. Combine. Clean. Declutter. Magnify.
I made 5x posts (and I couldn't copy & paste them entirely, they are too long).
Now I can read all of the angles, all of the hooks, compare the different structures.
This is your showtime. AI made you faster. Use it to be greater!
Step 5: Generate a viral image.
EasyGen also supports generating images for Linkedin.
Same principles: generate tons, select the best one! Making one image is as cheap as 0.40$.
Total cost of these 5x images? $2. Less than a coffee.
And I could arguably make multiple posts with them! But for what results?
For what result? See for yourself.
This is Yonathan Levy - the person I was writing a post for using EasyGen.
This is the AI replacing you: a smarter human who wants to be greater, not lazier.
